Peppadew Feta Quiche

What I especially like about this recipe is the cheese in the crust. Yum!

Time: 1 hour 15min  Portions: 6


250ml Flour
250ml Cheddar cheese (grated)
3/4 Cup butter (melted)
1 Medium red onion
1 tsp Garlic (crushed)
8-10 Peppadews
50g Feta
2 Extra large eggs
200ml Milk
Mixed dry herbs
4-5 Mushrooms (diced)
Worcesteshire sauce
Soya sauce
Black pepper


Preheat oven to 160C. Mix the flour, cheddar and butter together and spoon into a quiche dish. Fry the onion, garlic and mushrooms over medium heat for 5min, adding spices (Worcestershire, soya, salt and black pepper) to taste. Let it cool a little then spoon onto quiche base. Cut up the peppadews and add it. Crumble feta on top. Mix the rest of the ingredients together and pour into base. Place in the oven for 45min – 1 hour until golden brown on top.
