Salted Caramel Sauce

Now this made my day. If it has caramel in it, I’m sold! Which of course meant I had to learn to make it.

Time: 8min Portion: +/-300ml


75g Unsalted Butter
50g Brown sugar
50g Caster sugar
50g Syrup
125ml Cream
1 tsp Sea salt


Combine butter, sugar and syrup over medium heat and stir until sugar has melted. Simmer for 3min swirling every now and then. Add cream and salt. Swirl again. Cook for 1min and remove from heat.
