Milo Malva Pudding

Malva pudding is always a winner in my book, but add Milo to it and you have something stupidly good.

Time: 1 hour  Portions: 6

Ingredients

Malva:
250ml Sugar
20ml Butter
1 Egg
275ml Flour
100ml Milo powder
5ml Baking soda
250ml Milk
10ml Vinegar
10ml Vanilla essence

Sauce:
100g Milo Chocolate
125ml Crem
160ml Milk
30ml Butter
80ml Milo powder

Method

Heat oven to 180°C. Mix the sugar and butter. Add the egg and mix well. Separately, mix together the flour, Milo and baking soda. Mi the milk, vanilla and vinegar. Combine everything and mix well. Cover with foil and bake for 30-40min.

While it’s baking, over low heat, melt the chocolate, milk, cream and butter. Stir regularly. Once properly melted and combined, remove from heat and add Milo powder. Mix until smooth.

Remove the malva from the oven and immediately pour the sauce over it. Allow a minute or two for it to soak through.

Serve with cream or custard…or both!
