Banana Bread

This one is so quick to prepare and a really nice snack.

Time: 1 hour 10min  Portions: 5-6

Ingredients

1 Cup self-raising flour
2 tsp Baking soda
3/4 Cup sugar
1 Cup butter
3-4 Bananas
4 tsp Vanilla essence
1 tsp Cinnamon
2 Eggs (beaten)
3/4 tsp Salt

Method

Preheat oven to 180°C. Mix all the dry ingredients together. Mush the banana with a hand mixer. Melt the butter and combine it with the egg and vanilla essence. Mix everything together until well combined. Grease a baking pan and pour the mixture in. Bake for 1 hour.

Remove the pan and allow to cool for about 5-8min and then remove from the pan (flip it onto a cutting board).

(Side note: If you’re not sure if the banana bread is ready, stick a knife in it. If it comes out clean, it’s ready)
